Your visits for adjustments (Chiropractic treatments) will take less time than your examination and report of findings.

As the benefit of the adjustment is felt long after the visit we only need to spend around 20 minutes with you on each visit. This means that if you're a busy person you can get on with your day without chiropractic becoming a hindrance.

During each adjustment visit please take a seat in the reception. Take a few minutes to practice some deep breathing and 'turn off' from the day's stresses. Alternatively we provide health related magazines and books that you can read. The Chiropractor will invite you into the adjusting room soon after your arrival.

Treatment | Adjustment

Treatment mainly involves safe, often gentle, specific manual adjustments, done by hand, to free joints in the spine or other areas of the body that are not moving properly. Most often, this requires a short, highly skilled thrust to a joint that can result in an audible release, and may bring relief of symptoms as well as an increased feeling of well-being. The audible release is simply the sound of bubbles of gas popping in the fluid of the joint as the pressure is released.

Other Therapies

Apart from the adjustment, we may use a wide variety of techniques including ice, heat, ultrasound and rehabilitation exercises. If you have questions about any of these, just ask. We treat problems with your joints, bones and muscles, and the effects they may have on your nervous system. Working on all the joints of your body, making gentle, specific adjustments to improve the efficiency of your nervous system and release your body’s natural healing ability. Chiropractic does not involve the use of any drugs or surgery.

Rescheduled Appointments:

The time scheduled for your appointment is very important. Please give 24 hours notice to reschedule appointments. A fee applies when this policy is not observed.
